Hi My 280Z solar light has stopped working. Any clues as to what is wrong with this product? Has worked well for some months now but just stopped. Been on our flag pole all the time. Panel is like new.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about your solar flagpole flood light. We understand how frustrating it can be when your lights stop working and we are here to help.
Please follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Please make sure there are no other bright sources of lighting around the solar panel as the product won’t be able to turn on due to the daylight sensor (activates the light automatically at night and turns them off during the day). At night, make sure the solar panel is located away from bright sources of light as it may confuse the sensor.
To check the lights you may cover the solar panel with a towel to imitate the dark night environment.
2. Check the connection between the light and the solar panel, unplug it and reconnect to ensure a tight and secure connection.
3. Sometimes the light may stop working due to insufficient battery charge due to overcast days or so. Please place them under direct sunlight for a day or two to charge.
4. Ensure that the solar panel is installed in a location with direct and unshaded sunlight.
5. Finally, check that the light switch is turned on (usually located behind the solar panel or the light itself).
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again for further assistance.
Thank you for choosing Sunny Bunny Solar and we look forward to resolving this issue for you.
