Operation Instruction:

1. Connect the solar panel control box with a ground spike and holder and place it under the direct unsheltered sun for proper charging of the battery during the day.

2. Install the string lights at a suitable place, and make sure the solar panel is not sheltered; otherwise, it will impact the charging via solar power;

3. Press the ON/OFF switch to start the intelligent mode auto charging during the daytime and light up at night. Press MODE to shift lighting mode;

4. When the sunlight is not sufficient to supply power, please use a USB port located behind the panel to charge the battery via the cord. A red indicator light will be on when charging and green when the charging is completed. 

It is also recommended to charge the battery via the USB before the first use.

Note:

1. The sockets are waterproof. During installation, please make sure the bulbs are screwed tightly and securely into their sockets.

2. The switch behind the solar panel can be used to turn on and turn off the lights by manual control. When the switch is on, the solar panel will automatically charge during the day, and the string lights will automatically turn on during the night. 

3. Before using the remote control, please, make sure the lights are switched on at the back of the solar panel. The receiver for the remote control signal is located at the back of the solar panel box. 

General Maintenance Tips for outdoor Solar Fairy Lights:

- Solar Panel of Colourful Solar Festoon Fairy Lights String should be installed in a well-lit area where it can receive maximum straight sunlight during the daytime. Any cover that shades the Solar Panel will affect its ability to absorb sunlight and, as a result, decrease a device’s performance.

- Clean the surface of the Solar Panel with a soft, slightly moistened cloth with soap and water or a dry brush only. Do not use any corrosive cleaning liquids or chemicals since this may damage the housing surface or impair future operation.

- Keep the Solar Panel free of dirt, debris and snow otherwise, the battery will not charge properly or might also shorten battery life or cause a malfunction.

- It is recommended to place the product under the sun for recharging even it is not being used to prevent from a dead battery and maximize its life. 

- In a case when the product is not being used for a long time, charge it for at least 10 hours by the sun before use. 

- Please keep the product away from the fire to prevent explosion hazard
