I have tried other garden lights over the years, and found this lamp to be the best in terms of quality and light output. Actually one of the lights failed after a short time. It was replaced at no cost without any issues. I have since purchased another.
I purchased the 14W Bright Solar LED Batten Light Universal Shelter Carport Security Lamp, product arrived very soon after the order, and the installation was very straight forward. I installed it under my pergola to shine on a dining table. It is bright enough to lighten up the dining table. But if you wish to lighten up the whole pergola, you need to install bigger and multiple units. It is a bit pricy for it but if that fits your purpose, then it is a good buy.
I have four lily pads, in different water tubs and find they work well for me. It’s lovely having spots of self sufficient little water fountains in dishes / tubs throughout the garden. In Tasmania, the summers are hot, and dry so the water features. add a welcome cooling effect.
No complaints about Sunny Bunny and the price? Well I just don’t know but I did pay the price so hopefully it will work for years to come. Quality? Who knows it’s just been installed, time will tell, but it looked fine out of the box.
It needs something to stop seagulls landing on it and crapping on the solar panels. I made my own spike gadget.
It’s not as bright as I had hoped for and doesn’t cast a wide cone so at best the flag is partially illuminated if there’s a wind.
Very pleased with the lights. A lot brighter than I was expecting. Hopefully last a while given the cost. Brackets are a bit flimsy, so will have to make better when these fail.
bought the light a couple of weeks ago. Excellent quality lights, solar panel get charged even on cloudy day. On cloudy day also we get couple of hrs of light.
The lighting system is light yet effective and adequately robust and light shedding for my garage. The split lighting is excellent for covering an area from different angles. Bright enough to get on with the jobs after dark. Easy to install. Just the ticket and glad this product was available.
Seems good so far, has 3 brightness options and when fully charged will last over 8 hours on brightest setting. Time will tell how long the battery and recharge is effective. I chose this with warm light option... more natural outdoor light.
I bought this light to put into a horse stable. It is working really well. I am not confident it is getting enough sun to run for the period I would like. The instructions for use aren't very clear particularly if not using the remote. It seems that you just press the switch multiple times to change how many hours you want to light to stay on. I haven't seen anything that tells me what setting it is actually on. Initially I was working from the switch rather than the remote control. The remote does make it easier.
I wish the cable between the solar panel and the light was a little longer for my set up.
I highly recommend though.
Good quality lights, easy to set up, prompt delivery, IR remote control works well. Only issue are the microwave motion sensors of the lights do not handle a warm environment well (stone, paving, plastic turf), and won't detect movement unless facing a cool surface (eg metal fence, natural grass). Customer support was prompt in trying to solve issue.
I think glass front and metal casing, unlike the plastic you get in most things these days.
Easy to set up. I wish you could slow down the rotating color option, then you could actually use it apart from selecting the fixed color. Also an Amber color would have been great too.
Delivery was quick even though a long time was quoted, made me think they were coming from O/S instead of NSW
I have had this light since May 2022, two and a half years.
I move it around the yard a fair bit which has caused the wire to break at the point where it enters the light.
This would not happen if rarely moved.
Outer light frame rusts badly however, can be easily unscrewed at the four points, sanded and resprayed.
Remarkable it's still going as other brands tend to fail within a year or so.
Will purchase other lights in the future as everything I have purchased from Sunny keep working fine
I have purchased from Sunny Bunny before and as expected, quality is excellent. I have these lights setup to light up pathways and stairs around the house. When the movement sensor is activated they switch from dim to full power.. and boy are they bright! The only mod I have done is to use a taller post so I could mount them higher. I used an old Black paint roller extension pole because the diameter was a perfect fit into the base of the light. Then I screw fixed the lights to the pole

The remote control unit does not come with instructions and is far from intuitive meaning control of the light is a random process.
Light itself appears well made but the fixing to the wall method is poor and needs to be redesigned.
