* Connectivity Understanding:

WiFi Connection: Normally, the camera would connect to a local WiFi network to transmit data, allowing remote access and control over the internet. This requires an existing WiFi network provided by a router or similar device.

AP Hotspot Connection: When there is no available WiFi network, the camera can create its own WiFi hotspot, functioning as an access point. This feature allows a direct connection between the camera and a mobile device (like a smartphone or tablet) within a certain range (under 10m). You can access the camera's live feed and settings through this direct connection without needing an external internet connection.

The AP hotspot functionality is particularly useful in situations where:

• You are in a remote location without access to a WiFi network.
• You need to set up or access the camera in areas where the WiFi network is unreliable or unavailable.
• Temporary access is needed; setting up a new WiFi connection would be impractical.

It's important to note that while the AP hotspot allows for direct access to the camera, the range of this connection is typically limited to the camera's proximity, and the functionalities might be more restricted compared to when the camera is connected to a WiFi network with internet access. For example, you may not be able to access cloud storage or receive updates from the internet, but you can still view live feeds and manage camera settings directly.

General Maintenance Tips for Solar-Powered Cameras:

- A solar panel of a solar-powered camera should be installed in a well-lit area where they can receive maximum straight sunlight during the daytime. Adjust the angle of the panel if necessary. Any cover that shades the Solar Panel will affect its ability to absorb sunlight and, as a result, decrease a device’s performance.

- Clean the surface of the Solar Panel with a soft, slightly moistened cloth with soap and water or a dry brush only. Do not use any corrosive cleaning liquids or chemicals since this may damage the housing surface or impair future operation.

- Keep the Solar Panel free of dirt, debris, and snow; otherwise, the battery will not charge properly, might shorten battery life, or cause a malfunction.

- It is recommended to place the product under the sun for recharging even it is not being used to prevent from a dead battery and maximize its life. 

- When the product is not being used for a long time, charge it for at least 10 hours by the sun before use.
